Tyler Junior College Dental Hygiene Clinic
- Provides cleanings, exams, X-rays, and oral screening, performed by TJC dental hygiene students under supervision
- Very low cost: only $20 for the semester for uninsured patients.
Dental Lifeline Network
- Provides free dental care to people with disabilities, the elderly and the medically fragile who can’t afford treatment.
- The program relies on volunteer dentists and dental labs who donate their time and materials, and it is not an emergency service

East Texas Veterans Resource Center
- Provides support to veterans needing help with housing, VA benefits, disability claims, and access to healthcare.
- They also connect veterans with job training, mental health counseling, emergency financial assistance, transportation, and other essential community services.
Expectant Heart Pregnant Resource Center
Provides free and confidential support for individuals facing unplanned pregnancies. Services include pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, counseling, parenting resources, and referrals to healthcare or community programs, helping families make informed decisions and access support.
Hannah's House
- A faith-based maternity home in East Texas that supports young, expectant mothers choosing life.
- Provides a safe place to stay, support during pregnancy, and guidance through parenting or adoption.
House of Hope
- Provides emergency shelter for women and their children who are homeless or in crisis.
- Offers life-skills classes like money management, parenting, cooking, Bible study, and 12-step recovery programs.
Operated by Outer Court Ministries, also provides case management, emotional and spiritual support, and help finding stable housing.
Salvation Army
- Provides emergency shelter for people experiencing homelessness, plus 24/7 cooling stations in hot weather, as well as help with rent and utility assistance to prevent eviction or shutoffs.

East Texas Aging & Disability Resource Center
The ETX ADRC helps older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers connect to community resources. They provide guidance on transportation, home-delivered meals, in-home services, and benefits like Medicare or Medicaid. Their goal is to support independent living and help families access the services they need to stay safe and healthy at home.
Longview Dream Center
Provides free clothing, hygiene supplies, and household items like kitchenware and bedding to people in crisis. Also benevolence assistance for emergencies including help with rent, utilities, bus passes, hotel stays, and medications.
Distributes medical equipment (walkers, bedside commodes, etc.) to those who need it to maintain dignity and health at home.
